We offer a free collection service to collect items from the local community, although this is a free service to the customer there is a charge to us in terms of vans, fuel, staff, volunteer expenses, warehousing, processing, and displaying the items in our showrooms. ​​

On average a collection costs us approximately £40.

All the items we sell are priced according to their condition and quality to allow us to cover our overhead costs.

We start pricing items from as cheap as possible to ensure there is always an affordable option available.

As we are a not-for-profit organisation, we charge a reasonable price for items to ensure we can continue offering our services to our local community.

Xcel Furniture is a dedicated project aimed at minimising furniture waste by collecting, refurbishing, and thoroughly cleaning pre-owned items before making them available for resale.
This sustainable approach not only extends the life of furniture but also reduces environmental impact. The revenue generated from sales is reinvested to support other vital Xcel initiatives, including the local Foodbank and Money Advice service, which provide essential services to the community.
